- Summit: The Summit is the top-of-the-line trim for the Grand Cherokee. It comes with a standard 10.1-inch touchscreen, a Surround View Camera, and a 19-speaker premium audio system.

Performance Capabilities
Stellantis installs the famous Pentastar engine block by default on all 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee models. Backed up by generations of superb mechanical engineering, this V-6 powerhouse kicks out 293 horsepower. Retaining a conventional 60-degree gap between the six cylinders, this naturally aspirated powerhouse spits out 260 pound-feet of torque. Both Jeep models can be equipped with a 5.7-L engine that retains the classic HEMI engineering. Having a 90-degree separation between the cylinders, this V-8 engine pumps out 390 hp. When powered by this large engine, both models tow up to 7,200 gross pounds. Running on the iconic TorqueFlite technology, an automatic transmission system creates eight gear ratios under the hoods of the 2023 Grand Cherokee Summit and Overland. Employing a transfer case with dual speeds, the Quadra-Trac II 4×4 drive system propels the Overland trim. Optional on this model and standard on the Summit, the Quadra-Drive II 4WD system elevates off-road performance by significant margins. In fact, this high-end drivetrain incorporates a limited-slip, electronically managed differential for the rear axle. Both 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee models boast the class-leading Traction Management System, which has been improved compared to previous releases. Some other mechanical technologies that boost all-terrain handling include the Hill-Descent Control and a semi-active damping system.

Design Features
Decorated in Gloss Black and Bright Chrome, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland’s front grille looks great on any road or trail. Likewise, the Summit’s front grille has Gloss Black and Platinum Chrome accents. Both Jeep models boast a power-adjustable, foot-activated liftgate for superb convenience. A liftgate spoiler with Gloss Black accents adds some sophisticated aesthetics. You’ll get premium LED reflector-type headlamps on these acclaimed Grand Cherokee trims. Puddle lights and approach lights provide extra luxury after sunset. These premium Jeep SUVs also have power-folding side mirrors with heating filaments and reverse tilting. Featuring Bright Stainless Steel inserts, the Overland’s roof rails come with Gloss Black paint. Similarly, the Summit’s roof rails have Fine Silver paint and Gloss Black insertions.

Tech Features
Installed by default inside the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, the Uconnect 5 NAV infotainment system has an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit gets a 10.1-inch monitor with the same TomTom navigation system. Some applications installed on both trims include SiriusXM Guardian, 360L, Traffic, and Travel Link. Smartphone-ready apps in the multimedia systems include Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Designed by Alpine, nine speakers are installed inside these premium Jeep SUVs. Rated at more than 500 acoustic watts, an electric amplifier augments the signature audio system. Additionally, the Summit model has the standard Surround View Camera that records 360-degree videos of the entire perimeter in real-time.
