Performance Capabilities
Using natural aspiration, the 2023 Challenger’s Pentastar engine produces 303 horsepower. This entry-level, V-6 powertrain spits out 268 pound-feet of torque. Standard on the 2023 Camaro, the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine has a maximum rating of only 275 hp. However, this I-4 engine cranks out 295 lb-ft of peak torque. The Chevy’s normally aspirated V-6 engine specifications include 335 hp and 284 lb-ft. This sports car from General Motors offers a 6.2-L, V-8 engine that unleashes 455 hp and 455 lb-ft. Displacing 6.4 L, the 2023 Challenger’s HEMI 392 engine beats such ratings by up to 30 hp and 20 lb-ft. A supercharger is embedded into the car’s 6.2-L engine, which pumps out a whopping 807 hp and 707 lb-ft. In stark contrast, the 2023 Camaro doesn’t get more than 650 hp and 650 lb-ft from a supercharged engine, displacing 6.2 L. Both cars have a six-speed manual transmission system. Designed by TREMEC, the Challenger’s manual gearbox has more proprietary features. You can purchase this Dodge muscle car with the TorqueFlite automatic transmission, which offers eight gears. Likewise, the Chevy model has an automatic gearbox with eight or ten ratios. Both vehicles provide Brembo brakes with up to six calipers for quick stopping.
Technology Features
Stellantis offers the Uconnect 4C infotainment system for the 2023 Dodge Challenger. The most advanced version on the lineup comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and speech recognition. You’ll get SiriusXM Guardian and Wi-Fi services with the high-end multimedia center inside this Dodge muscle car. Designed by Harman Kardon, 18 premium speakers are optional for this vehicle. Made by Bose, the 2023 Camaro’s best audio system only has seven or nine speakers. You won’t find as many SiriusXM services inside this sports car from Chevrolet. Both models have Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth connectivity portals. The unique SRT Performance Pages also give the Dodge trim a much greater advantage in the technology category.
Interior Features
The 2023 Dodge Challenger has performance seats in various colors and materials. Some upholstery options for the ergonomic bucket seats include Houndstooth, Nappa leather, Laguna leather, and Alcantara. Color choices for the front seats include black, Ruby Red, and Sepia. Suede headliners and carbon-fiber inserts decorate various corners of this muscle car from Stellantis. You can add other genuine Mopar interior accessories to the cabin, such as bright pedals and bright door sills. Some of the 2023 Chevy Camaro’s notable interior appointments include Adrenaline Red seats and alloy sport pedals. Both vehicles have a performance-tuned steering wheel with leather trimming.
