Whipping out a maximum of 470 net horsepower, the 6.4-liter HEMI engine propels the 2022 Grand Wagoneer. Made of cast iron, the V-8 powertrain unleashes 455 pound-feet of peak torque at 4,400 RPM. This all-new SUV is muscular enough to pull a trailer that’s packed with up to 9,850 net pounds. Powered by a 5.7-L HEMI engine, the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee can tow 7,200 lbs. This updated SUV runs on the standard Pentastar V-6 engine, which has a trailering capacity of 6,200 lbs. Both SUVs have an eight-speed automatic transmission system that’s fine-tuned for handling a wide range of challenges. These premium models also boast the legendary Traction Management System for incredible off-road handling. Adopting the Selec-Terrain design, the TMS offers the Rock Mode, Sand/Mud Mode, and three other custom settings. Both vehicles also have the Selec-Speed Control that increases traction on rough terrain. Carrying the exclusive Quadra-Drive II design, a 4×4 drive system with a two-speed transfer case is optional on the 2022 Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee. When equipped with the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, these high-end SUVs offer industry-leading versatility in terms of ground clearance.
Adopting the Uconnect 5C technology, the 2022 Grand Wagoneer’s multimedia system includes a central touch screen that measures 12.0 inches wide. Measuring 10.25 inches wide, an articulating lower display provides additional information. This high-end SUV also offers another 10.25-inch touch screen that’s designed for the front passenger. This highly interactive, class-exclusive monitor is nicely integrated into the glove compartment. Additionally, the 2022 Grand Wagoneer has the Driver Information Digital Cluster that occupies 12.3 inches. Also running on the next-generation Uconnect 5 platform, the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s infotainment console has a 10.1-inch touch screen. The front passenger also gets access to a personalized monitor for custom entertainment and connectivity. In fact, this redesigned Jeep model offers Amazon Fire TV for virtually endless fun during a trip. Designed by the acclaimed McIntosh brand, 19 speakers are available for the 2022 Grand Cherokee. Also carrying the same branding, the Grand Wagoneer’s best sound system is available with 23 high-end speakers.

For example, both SUVs are available with the Active Driving Assist and Active Lane Management functions.
