The 2022 Grand Wagoneer is a newcomer with stunning mechanical capabilities, intelligent technologies, and luxurious amenities. This three-row SUV has the Quadra-Drive II system, Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, and other unrivaled off-road features. Entering its fourth generation, the 2022 Lincoln Navigator has a well-established presence on the market for full-size, luxury SUVs.

Fitted with a standard tri-pane sunroof, the 2022 Grand Wagoneer truly stands out from the crowd. A power sunshade is integrated into the front end of this sophisticated sunroof. By contrast, the 2022 Navigator’s Panoramic Vista Roof only has two glass panes. You’ll still find high-end items on this lavish Lincoln SUV, like an illuminated logo on the front grille and the Lincoln Embrace lighting system. Both lavish vehicles offer a power-controlled, hands-free liftgate for the ultimate convenience. You’ll love the rich texture and elegant appearance of the 2022 Grand Wagoneer’s standard 24-way seats in the first row. These heated and ventilated seats are covered in genuine Palermo leather. Similarly, the Lincoln model boasts the 24-way Perfect Position front seating with climate control and leather trimming.
Running on a 4×4 drive system from the award-winning Quadra-Drive II family, the 2022 Grand Wagoneer offers a rare combination of high-end luxury and outstanding off-road performance. This proprietary drivetrain includes a limited-slip rear differential with full electronic modulation. Engineered for navigating slopes, the Hill Descent Control is another advanced technology that supplements this signature driveline. Likewise, the HDC function is available for the 2022 Navigator’s optional 4×4 drive system. However, such a relatively generic drivetrain is no match for the Quadra-Drive II system, which attains a 2.72:1 ratio in the low range. Like the Traction Management System, you’ll find other segment-leading, off-road technologies on the 2022 Grand Wagoneer. Controlled by an electronic switch, the Selec-Terrain TMS helps this luxurious SUV conquer unforgiving terrains. You won’t get such advanced settings from the Lincoln Drive Modes, which primarily optimize on-road handling. Powered by the Selec-Speed Control, the Grand Wagoneer’s active transfer case operates between two speeds. Similarly, the Lincoln model’s generic transfer case runs on two settings. The Quadra-Lift Air Suspension is already assembled at the factory by raising or lowering the 2022 Grand Wagoneer’s height as needed. Such an air suspension system isn’t available on the 2022 Navigator. However, this Lincoln model still offers the Adaptive Suspension with Road Preview for good all-terrain handling.
The 2022 Grand Wagoneer includes the standard Driver Information Digital Cluster Display that measures 12.3 inches diagonally. A 12.0-inch touch screen is included with the default Uconnect 5C infotainment system. Articulating for extra comfort and visibility, the lower 10.25-inch display manages the climate control and other secondary settings that aren’t related to telematics. Even the front passenger will get a personal monitor measuring 10.25 inches wide. Likewise, the passengers in the middle row can watch their favorite content on the dual 10.25-inch screens. Despite having a 13.2-inch LCD in the infotainment console, the 2022 Navigator simply doesn’t offer as many monitors as the all-new Jeep SUV.
